Spalted Tamarind Chopsticks

Truly one of a kind.
These are Spalted Tamarind chopsticks. All made from the same plank of aged lumber.  I only have a certain number in this listing. I do not know when i will find tamarind wood this figured again, so when these run out, I may not have the ability to produce more for a very long while. If you place an order you will receive a pair that is in the pictures. These are roughly 9" in length, but are not exact.  

Types.
Hand Carved - Each pair of chopsticks was hand carved, and then paired with its most similar mate based on appearance.

Standard - These are and planed to a  perfect taper using a planer and a home made jig.

These are sealed with food safe polyeurethane, 4 coats, and were allowed to fully cure before being listed for sale.  These are great for sushi, and and most hot foods. I would avoid hot liquids such as ramen, but they will be find for solid food.  Fully submerging in near boiling water will damage the chopsticks.  Food serving temperature will be fine, but prolonged exposure fully surrounded by greater than 150F temps will ruin the finish.
